Welcome to claudex, your personal Claude Code UI. This application lets you work in a local or cloud sandbox, providing an in-browser VS Code experience along with terminal access. It supports multiple providers like Max, Z.AI, and OpenRouter, allowing you to customize skills and manage MCP servers effortlessly.

🚀 Getting Started

System Requirements

To run claudex, make sure your system meets the following requirements:

• Operating System: Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.12 or later, or a modern Linux distribution.
• RAM: Minimum 4 GB.
• Storage: At least 200 MB of free disk space.
• Internet: A stable connection for cloud features.

Installation Steps

1. Visit the Releases Page Click the link below to go to the releases page where you can find the latest version of claudex:

2. Download the Package On the releases page, look for the latest version of claudex. Choose the package that matches your operating system and click on the download link.

3. Install claudex
   • Windows Users: Once the download completes, locate the .exe file in your Downloads folder and double-click to install.
   • macOS Users: After downloading the .dmg file, double-click it, then drag the claudex application to your Applications folder.
   • Linux Users: Extract the downloaded tar file in your preferred directory and follow the included instructions to perform the installation.
4. Launching claudex
   • After installation, find the claudex application in your system’s application menu or desktop. Click to launch it.
   • If you receive a security warning, confirm that you want to open the application.
5. Initial Setup When you launch claudex for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to set up your preferred coding environment, connect to cloud services, and customize your settings.
